Questions before you build
What homeowners and architects ask us about timelines, costs and the process, before the first drawing is made.
Before you book
What Cotswolds homeowners ask us
Straight answers on area, process, warranties and the trades we handle in-house.
Do you build across the whole Cotswolds?
Yes. We take on extensions, renovations, new homes and barn conversions throughout the Cotswolds, working from our Cirencester office.
What's the process from first conversation to handover?
One team carries your project from the first drawing through design, planning and build to handover, so nothing is handed between separate contractors along the way.
Do you handle planning permission and listed building consent?
We work within the planning requirements of each Cotswolds project, including listed buildings and conservation areas, as part of the design stage.
We already have an architect. Can you still build the project?
Yes. We work directly from an architect's drawings as the build team, or from the first sketch if you'd prefer one team throughout.
What warranty comes with a new build?
New builds carry a 10-year structural warranty. We are also members of the Federation of Master Builders.
Can you convert an existing barn into living space?
Yes, barn conversions are one of our core services, working with the original structure and traditional materials wherever possible.
Do you design kitchens and joinery, or just the building work?
Kitchens and joinery are part of our service, designed and fitted by the same team building the rest of the project.
What recognises the quality of your work?
We won the LABC Building Excellence Awards in 2023 and are members of the Federation of Master Builders.
